Here are some links to the cooking show I direct that I was telling you about in class. We started this very DIY and now are running a food truck in LA.
Just some more examples of how you take an idea and even if you have a limited budget, surround yourself with people who have specific skills, and make something as professional as anything on TV.

ReplyDeleteAn interesting point had been made by Professor Kalim, about bringing together people with skills. For a successful D.I.Y movement, unity is definitly needed. This idea intertwines with that presented in "Exit through the Gift Shop." Terry, accompanies Bansky to different areas and they both realize that it was for the betterment. Terry's skills as a film producer and Banksy's aesthetic talent came together. "The Dante Fried Chicken Show" may not be shown through prominent media companies, but it is still entertaining!
ReplyDeleteOh, and regarding Platano's comment about not being able to meet celebrities...It depends on one's initiatives and how determined he or she really is with the project.

i don't understand, is he giving us a history of this artist and interviewing him? or is this a way to show he can cook? i thought the artist was going to help him at first but then he just talks about himself haha
